How to Use Equipment Validation

This article explains how to set up Equipment Validation to prevent users from selecting incompatible equipment with specific container sizes and types.

Equipment Validation allows your team to enforce rules that ensure only appropriate chassis are used with specific container dimensions. This reduces costly errors caused by incompatible assignments.

To configure equipment validation:

1. Navigate to Settings > Equipment > Validations

2. Enable the toggle for "Use chassis mapping validation"

3. In the rule setup table:

   • Select the container size and type

   • Select the chassis size and type

4. Click Save Changes in the upper-right corner

Once saved, this configuration will restrict load assignments so that only the defined container types and sizes may be paired with compatible chassis types and sizes.

This helps ensure operational accuracy by blocking invalid combinations from being assigned.
