Overview
This article outlines how drivers can upload, sign, and manage documents—like PODs—directly from the PortPro Driver App throughout the life of a load.
Key Features
1. Proof of Delivery (POD) Trigger
When a driver taps “Arrived at Deliver Container”, the app will automatically trigger the POD document.
Live Unload Tip:
If the cargo hasn't been unloaded yet, drivers should tap “Skip” to bypass the POD at arrival and complete it after unloading.
2. Signing the POD
Once delivery is complete:
Scroll to the Documents section.
Tap “Sign” to capture the consignee or warehouse signature.
Arrival and departure times on the POD can be manually adjusted during this step.
3. Uploading Additional Documents
Drivers can also upload documents during the move:
Go to the Documents section in the load.
Tap to take a picture or upload a file from the phone.
Select the correct document type (e.g., POD, BOL, Chassis Receipt).
If none apply, choose “Other.”
This helps dispatch and operations teams access documents quickly and sort them accurately.
