Quickbooks Desktop is synced from PortPro using a software called Rutter. See below for steps on how to set this up for syncing.
Steps to Connect:
Login into your PortPro account using your admin email
Navigate to Settings - My Apps - Finance
From here you will be able to click on the Connect button
This will bring up a modal with steps to complete to setup and verify the connection
You will need to enter you QB Account ID (account #) OR your company name (your company name must be entered exactly as it appears on your QB account (Note: it is okay that no spaces are allowed, just type the name as is without the spaces)
Once that is verified you will need to download the .qwc file as prompted on the steps
If you get an error message saying that your account is already in use, please contact PortPro for reset
When the .qwc file has finished downloading please open it and navigate back to the modal
You will see an option to “Click here to copy password” → click on this and navigate back to the Web Connector screen (DO NOT CLOSE THIS WINDOW)
Paste the password in the password field
Check the left hand side checkbox
You will likely be prompted to “save your password” → click okay here
Ensure that the “Every-Min” column is adjusted to 1
Click on “Update Selected” at the top of the window
At this point the Initial Sync will occur - nothing needed on your side for this
PortPro will notify you when the Initial Sync has completed
Once Initial Sync has completed → navigate back to the original modal, scroll down, and click on “Verify Connection”
You should see a “Connection Verified” screen
Once this has been completed, PortPro will finalize the migration and notify you of completion
