Connecting PortPro to Multiple QuickBooks Company Files

PortPro is designed to sync with a single QuickBooks company file (whether using QuickBooks Online or Desktop). However, customers using the hybrid Broker + Carrier solution have the ability to connect to multiple company files.

Syncing Options

• Standard Setup
  PortPro supports integration with only one company file by default.

• Hybrid Broker + Carrier Users
  Users of the hybrid solution can connect to multiple company files by navigating to:
  Settings → My Apps → Finance

Manual Data Handling for Multiple Company Files

For companies requiring data to flow into multiple QuickBooks company files:

• Syncing must be handled manually.

• Download Options from PortPro:

  • CSV files can be exported for manual import into QuickBooks Online.

  • IIF files can be exported for manual import into QuickBooks Desktop.

    Note: IIF files are not compatible with QuickBooks Online.

This approach allows for flexible financial reporting across multiple company files while maintaining control over data transfer.
