Connections Overview

The Connections section in PortPro enables data syncing and communication with external systems or partner accounts outside of a user's individual PortPro environment.

• Connect Configuration

  • Designed for brokers connected to carriers or carriers connected to brokers.

  • Allows users to define whether to auto-accept specific load data fields when updates are sent by the connected party.

• Documents

  • Enables document syncing between connected accounts when specified in the profile.

  • Carriers commonly sync:

    • POD (Proof of Delivery)

    • TIR IN / TIR OUT

  • Brokers may sync:

    • Delivery Orders

    • Bills of Lading

Integration & Developer Tools Overview

This section includes tools for connecting PortPro to external platforms and managing advanced enterprise features.

• Developer Settings

  • Stores API tokens and Webhook configurations used to connect with external software.

• Enterprise Connection Setup

  • Enables Single Sign-On (SSO) so users can log in using their organization's credentials.

• My Apps

  • Displays connected customers (e.g., brokers).

  • Only the Super Admin can connect:

    • QuickBooks Online under the Finance section

    • ELD providers under Fleet Maintenance

• Enhanced Container Tracking

  • Shows premium features available through a tier upgrade, including:

    • Auto-pulled data fields into loads

    • Automated gate ticket capture

    • Empty return recommendations
