Why Don’t the Time In and Time Out on My POD Match the Arrival and Departure Timestamps at the Warehouse?

Modified on Tue, 3 Jun at 4:03 AM

Overview

If the Time In and Time Out fields on a Proof of Delivery (POD) do not match the system-recorded arrival and departure times at the consignee, the discrepancy is often due to manual entry by the driver.

Why This Happens

  • Drivers can select or edit the time in/out fields directly when submitting the POD within the Driver App.

  • These manual entries may differ from the system-tracked timestamps logged during status updates (e.g., “Arrived to Deliver,” “Departed”).

Best Practice

To ensure accurate and consistent data:

  • Confirm with the assigned driver how they are entering the times.

  • Encourage use of real-time updates instead of estimates when submitting PODs.
