How to Resolve the “Enable Motion Activity” Error in the Driver App

Overview

To use the PortPro Driver App effectively, drivers must enable Motion Activity on their mobile device. This feature allows the app to:

  • Automatically update timestamped statuses

  • Track miles traveled during active routes


How to Enable Motion Activity by Device Type

For iPhone Users:

  1. Open Settings

  2. Tap Privacy

  3. Tap Motion & Fitness

  4. Toggle on Fitness Tracking

For Android Users:

  1. Open the phone’s Settings

  2. Tap Apps

  3. Find and select the PortPro V2 App

  4. Go to Permissions

  5. Tap Physical Activity

  6. Select Allow Physical Activity Access




It's also possible for drivers to review which apps have requested access to their device's motion and fitness sensors, and change their access from the app level.
