POD for Yard Move

Overview

Understand how the system determines when a Proof of Delivery (POD) is required based on the type of move.

Details

In Driver Profiles > Mobile Permissions, enabling the setting for requiring a POD will only enforce this for Delivery moves. Drivers will be required to upload a POD before they can complete a delivery.

For all other move types—such as yard moves, pickups, or terminal transfers—the POD document pop-up will still appear in the driver app, but the driver will have the option to click "Skip".

This setup ensures that PODs are required only when appropriate (e.g., when delivering to the final customer), while minimizing unnecessary steps for internal or intermediate moves.
