Why Can’t I Fully Delete Driver Profiles, Loads, or Customers in PortPro?

In PortPro, users can deactivate profiles like drivers, customers, or loads—but not permanently delete them. This approach ensures that historical data remains intact for compliance, reporting, and audit purposes.
Why Only Deactivation?
Full deletion would erase the profile and all associated historical data, including billing, routing, and tracking history.
Deactivation removes the profile from view and selection menus, but maintains the data record behind the scenes.
What Happens When a Profile is Deactivated?
It is no longer selectable in dropdowns or active workflows.
It remains stored digitally for documentation, reporting, and internal reference.
This helps ensure accountability and record integrity across your operation.
